MOONSHOT PROGRAM

Providing clean energy to nonprofits making a difference
The Solar Moonshot Program is helping nonprofit organizations across the United States afford the switch to clean energy.

Grants up to $25,000 are typically awarded, with grant amounts dependent on various factors, including the organization’s need for funding.  Grant priority is given to solar projects that have additional funding sources and community support.

Grants for 2024 are made possible by the BQuest Foundation and an anonymous donor, and the program is managed by Hammond Climate Solutions Foundation.  Learn more about the program's status and participants below!

100% 5-Star Rating from Grantees and Philanthropists

"It has been an absolute pleasure working with Hammond Climate Solutions' Solar Moonshot Program. This is actually our 2nd project with Hammond Climate Solutions that from concept to completion took less than 3 months. In my nearly 15 years working with foundations, it is often a much-more drawn out process and the speed in which Hammond Climate Solutions has operated has been incredibly helpful and refreshing. Their staff are organized and easy to work with. I cannot thank them enough for bringing CAN and our communities closer to a sustainable future!"
