Providing clean energy to nonprofits making a difference
The Solar Moonshot Program is helping nonprofit organizations across the United States afford the switch to clean energy.
Grants up to $25,000 are typically awarded, with grant amounts dependent on various factors, including the organization’s need for funding. Grant priority is given to solar projects that have additional funding sources and community support.
Grants for 2024 are made possible by the BQuest Foundation and an anonymous donor, and the program is managed by Hammond Climate Solutions Foundation. Learn more about the program's status and participants below!

Solar Moonshot Program Application
Completing this questionnaire does not imply a grant request is approved. Grants with near-term installation plans will receive priority as it's the goal of the Solar Moonshot Program to get as much solar installed as quickly as possible to help mitigate the climate crisis. Available funds are limited. For program assistance please email SolarMoonshot@hcs.foundation.
