“The staff and board of West Valley Community Services are deeply grateful to The Left Coast Fund and Hammond Client Solutions for supporting the installation of solar panels at one of our affordable housing complexes in Cupertino, California. This complex features some of the only 3-bedroom units in our city's affordable housing inventory, home to some of our community's most economically disadvantaged families. Our residents had been facing food and housing insecurity - and now COVID-19 - in one of the most expensive regions in the world. Installing solar panels will both lower our residents monthly energy costs, and enable us to transition to renewable energy. Not only is this project good for the environment, it is an investment in household stability and self-sufficiency - a win all around. We would not have been able to do this project without the support of The Left Coast Fund and Hammond Client Solutions.”
