Solar Moonshot Program Grantee

“We are excited to be partnering with Hammond Climate Solutions Foundation as a grant recipient for solar panels on our Council Service Center! After our tax credit, the grant covered the remainder of the cost, allowing the project to be fully funded! This allows us to invest other funds received directly back into the program. As an environmentally friendly organization, we want to lead the way in helping the environment any way we can. This investment will reduce our carbon footprint, while also helping to reduce our energy costs. We are also excited to use this project as an opportunity for our Scouts to learn about renewable energy and earn merit badges!”
